Guitar lessons after the basics or before?

I’m 17 and want to start learning acoustic guitar. I’m thinking of having lessons as people said it will be good as i’ll learn the right techniques and won’t develop bad habits.
Will it be a good idea to learn the basics on the internet and then go to guitar lessons or should I learn the basics with professional help first?

Go get lessons, I didn’t get lessons, and I had some bad habits. But I’m over those habits now and still haven’t gotten lessons but I didn’t need them
