I am 18 years old and i know i’m leaving it late, but i’m not trying to be the next Eric Clapton, i just wanna learn. My dad was going to teach me but me but he died when i was 12, so he never got the chance, but i inherited his guitars and i think it’s about time i learned and respected his old property. So any tips to help me learn would be great, its a classic acoustic guitar. And please in layman’s terms if you can because i am a complete beginner. Thanks people

PluckandPlayGuitar has free video based lessons for absolute beginners and assume you know nothing or close to nothing.
It takes you step by step through the basic guitar chords one by one. There’s also lesson on guitar scales, techniques and some easy songs to play.
