I want to be self taught. i don’t want to go through long lessons everyday that may not be useful at all. I will probably look for free guitar lessons on the internet.

im self taught.
Ive been playing for a couple of years.
I really love the guitar, but im a lefty so it’s extremely hard for me.
But i was still extremely motivated to play guitar, so I bought a righty
acoustic guitar,restringed it, went to ultimate guitar.com learned some
songs, and over the years i’ve eventualy skilled up.
Look at me now, I have a marshall half stack amp, I have tons of
guitars in lefty, I can do all sorts of things on the guitar: shred, sweep,
tap, and i can virtualy play any song you want me too.
It does get frusterating, but do start with an acoustic guitar!
