Wanting to learn to play after exams finish in June, just wondering how long it takes to pick up basics, learn chords, etc.
Plus anything else that could be useful to someone starting out.

well it took me about a month, to pick up the basics and learn a few chords, so you should be good to go 
maybe it depends if your a fast learner or not? but you should be able to by june,
