well i got this electric guitar, i think it’s a fender, if that helps, and I can play it fairly well. But with the amp it sounds only like an acoustic with a microphone. How do I make that awesome jagged sound that the rockers do with theirs?
there is no clean button

Is there a “clean” button on your amp? If you click it, it’ll switch between clean and that “jagged” sound. Then, just mess with the bass and treble (and gain, if you have it) until you get the sound you want.
