If I learn to play the guitar, could I play the Ukelele too?

I want to take guitar lessons, and I also want to learn how to play the Ukelele. Are they both different things, different notes, strings, fingerings &etc? Or if I learn to play guitar, could I play ukelele too like there sort of the same thing ?

hahahaha never ever say they are a same thing to an islander. big mistake. cuz they are two totally different instruments. i know a ton of friends who play the uke and the guitar but they are so much different. i mean if you learn to play the guitar you will probably have a better chance at learning how to play the uke. cuz you know how to move your fingers and strum at the same time. you’ll have a better chance at learning faster than someone who hasnt played either.
