Height doesn’t have anything to do with guitar. What matters is the guitar itself. I own an Ibanez acoustic and it’s incredible! Another good acoustic brand is Taylor.
Good guitars start at $ 100 and only go up. If you’re on a budget, music shops sell used guitars for cheap (under $ 100).
You want to test out whatever guitars you try out for intonation (if the notes stay in tune), sustainability (how long the notes ring until disappearing), action (the height of the strings from the fretboard), and comfort. If you buy a used guitar you will have to pay extra attention to these things as well as inspect the body for any warping (actually you should do this with new guitars as well).
Don’t forget to buy a few picks, tuner, and metronome. The case usually comes with the guitar.
