Need help getting daughter an acoustic guitar for lessons on a budget?

Question by .: Need help getting daughter an acoustic guitar for lessons on a budget?
I bought her one from ebay and the teacher said it was garbage, so I’m looking at a couple at WalMart now. One says it’s a Washburn, I don’t know what that means but I was wondering if that would be a good (acoustic) guitar for a child to learn on? It’s Hannah Montanna. These are the details:
Hannah Montana Acoustic Guitar Features: Select hardwood. Rosewood Bridge and Fingeboard. Closed tuners. Burst top finish. Pick guard. Limited Lifetime Warranty. Four color box design.

__The other is synsonic little divas guitar. It’s at sears.com I couldn’t find the details for it. Can someone tell me if these would be good sounding learner guitars for lessons?

Buy a guitar at a music store and nowhere else. You’re trying to save money on something that should cost around $ 200. When you buy from a reputable music store you will get an instrument that is of sufficient quality to learn on and to play for years, plus a store that will help you if it needs set up. If you buy from Wal*Mart you’re buying a toy.
