ok im a 12 year old chick!!
im getting a killer electric guitar (RoCk An RoLl all the way)
ok well im starting my lessons in 3 weeks and i was needing to know if i needed an amp. for my firstthing of lessons?
P.S- if ill need any thing else please say so oh and im going to get everything 1 at a time

Well for one thing, why in the heck are you learning on an electric?
and why do you need a killer electric guitar for your 1st one? because seriously I started playing (I learned on acustic) at 4, and I got my 1st electric at 10. It was a gibson les paul, but I had been playing for 6 years.
you need an electric tuner. extra strings, guitar picks, a case, and a strap.
and please don’t tell me you picked a guitar because it was pretty? you should always pick a guitar by how it feels in your hand, the larger the neck, (for a beginner) the better. I found that a strat’s neck is very comfortable for small hands like mine.
EDIT-Also there’s the chance you won’t like guitar, and then you’ve wasted 2000 bucks on a sweet guitar.
but I thought I should mention, you should look for a guitar with a locking nut, if it doesn’t have one your guitar will go out of tune quickly, especially using the whammy. Jackson guitars are super cool, and have the locking nut, and aren’t outragously esxpensive for a 1st guitar. Check out the Randy Rhodes style.
