What are some tips for faster chord switching on the acoustic guitar?

Question by Ashley: What are some tips for faster chord switching on the acoustic guitar?
I recently decided to teach myself to play the acoustic guitar. I have lesson sheets from previous lessons of chords and songs to practice. I just want some advice on how to practice for faster chord switching. Any advice? Also, any advice for playing the guitar in general is welcome! Thanks!

Search the internet for synonymous chords, meaning the chords that you could use are ones that sound the same but might be easier for your fingers to form. You could take a peek at ultimateguitar.com or chordie.com.

Personally, I just practiced till my fingers bled or till they could no longer move.

Additional:
Try changing chrods with the beat.
Also, you could try looking at the fretboard, planning the next chord so when you shift, it would be easier for you to form it!
