what is a regular strumming pattern on acoustic guitar? are there more than one regular strumming patterns? please help. i’m taking guitar lessons once a week and i’ve been to about 4 lessons.

regular strumming pattern could be either down continuously or up and down continuously and there are many different stumming patterns it could be up down down up, etc. or up up up down etc.
