Depends on if you’re looking for an acoustic or electric. I got my acoustic at a flea market. It was cheap, but a pain in the butt to play, which discouraged me from practicing. If you’re looking for an electric, I would recommend a Fender Squire kit. I got the guitar, an amp, cord, tuner and headphones for less that $ 250.00. The guitar itself is pretty nice and much easier to play than my acoustic, but the amp is very basic and boring.
