I am going to buy my eight year old son a guitar and give him lessons. Should I buy a full size, 3/4 size, steel string or nylon?

Definitely not a full-sized guitar (they are huge!), but an acoustic is the best to start with. He won’t be able to hold a normal sized guitar or even wrap his arm over it. Daisy Rock is a girl guitar company (they sell smaller-bodied guitars), so I am sure that there is a company for younger boys (I just don’t know what that company would be). You should go to a guitar shop and ask them about smaller guitars.
