i would like to start playing the guitar but i’m on a budget. I don’t want to spend over 220$ .

Well for the guitar, if your going electric, then you should be able to find a relatively cheap one for about $ 150 (thats a really shabby one tho) and a 5-watt amp, well I dont really know so you’ll have to google it. if your okay with not going electric, you could get an acoustic for about $ 220 that is a good bit better than a $ 150 electric, and you could upgrade to a better electric or acoustic later on (all of this should be at your local music store).
