Question by V: What’s the best acoustic guitar for a beginner?
I need to choose an instrument to begin taking classic guitar lessons. I want a full size instrument that would allow me to grow and develop, and I would like to limit the price to $ 200 or so. At the moment, I am looking at a Hohner HW220, Lyon Washburn GWL102, Ibanez SGT120, Alvarez Regent RFO10 and Yamaha F335, but other suggestions are welcome. Thanks!

Play them all. That’s what I tell everyone and it’s also the reason I know so fuckin’ much about different guitars. Play a bunch until you find the one you really like. Ank keep going to music stores as often as you can and playing more guitars. It will help you learn what’s hot and what’s not and also give you mental options for upgrades if and when that time ever comes. There is no right or wrong, it’s a matter of what sounds good and feels good to you.
